United Methodist
Serving Christ since 1848

Greetings from New Life UMC! We welcome you with open arms and warm hearts to share the "Good News." Churches have different worship styles. Worship at New Life is best described as "traditional, but never dull." We gather to celebrate, to pray, to share in our blessed relationship as sisters and brothers in Christ, and to be inspired by God's Word, Spirit, and Sacraments. If you are looking for a church home, we invite you the same way Jesus invited His disciples: "Come and see!"

New Life United Methodist Church is a merger of four United Methodist congregations: Thomson, Aldersgate, Fulton, and North Street, all in the Wheeling area. On Pentecost Sunday, May 30, 2004, a new chapter was begun in the ongoing history of the United Methodist Church in Wheeling, West Virginia. It is not enough to simply claim to be a New Life of hope and service, but it is our purpose to find new ways to reach out to people, to begin building new bridges of faith and hope so that future generations will experience the heart and soul of the "Good News" of Jesus Christ. May your time with us be a blessing and brighten the pathways of your life.
